Waffles!

If you use two waffle makers, plug them into different kitchen circuits. The counter plugs are on different breaker circuits, and the plugs are marked Waffle 1 and Waffle 2.

Belgian Waffle Recipe

If you don’t want to mix your own, the “Classique Fare” brand mix they have at Island Foods is the best one they carry.

This is the Reedy family tested and approved recipe for use in the waffle maker. It is adapted from King Arthur Flour

Waffles, Bacon, Peaches, and Orange Juice!

1 ½ cup Milk
6 Tablespoons melted butter
2 Tablespoons Maple Syrup
¾ teaspoon Salt
1 Teaspoon Vanilla Extract
2 Eggs
2 cups Flour
1 ½ teaspoon Yeast
1 cup Rice Krispies

Whisk together all ingredients EXCEPT the Rice Krispies in a large bowl. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate overnight.  In the morning, whisk in the Rice Krispies. Heat waffle irons. Put about ⅔ to ¾ of a cup of batter in the waffle iron and close. Waffles are done when they stop steaming. Double the recipe for feeding a crowd.
